The entire Lance family would like to thank everyone for your support during their inaugural Tommy Roberts Memorial Race. There was a fantastic turn out for this event and some great racing. It was wonderful to see the Roberts family in attendance for this event. Of course it could’nt be a Tommy Roberts event without a #1-A car on the speedway, so it was good to see Brant and his father Marshall in attendance as well, as they had a longstanding friendship with the Roberts family. Another Tommy Roberts highlight was Chad Hoopaugh’s victory in the Modified Street. Chad grew up idolizing Tommy so it was good see him take home a win in his honor.
Congratulations to all the winners. Don’t forget the next and last race of the season for Hartwell Speedway is going to be on Oct 24th. Hartwell has decided to go out with a bang by running a Powder Puff race, so ladies get yourself a ride and come join in on the fun.
