TST 6/20: TIM BUSHA AND DINGUS GRIFFIN WIN

TIM BUSHA AND DINGUS GRIFFIN SHARE SUPER LATEMODEL VICTORIES AT TALLADEGA Eastaboga, AL (June 20, 2009) – Saturday Night featured fan appreciation night highlighted by two Super Late Model feature events and two different winners sharing victory lane in front of a big crowd at Talladega Short Track. Tim Busha picked up the win in the first feature event, grabbing the lead half-way through the feature event. Danny Peoples who led the first half of the race finished in the second spot with Terry Smith third. Tim Roszell posted a fourth place finish with Ted Lackey rounding out the top five. The second SLM feature saw Dingus Griffin pick up the win over Busha who finished second and lackey third. Smith finished in the fourth spot with Stacy Holmes rounding out the top five. Adam Martin picked up the win in Crate Late Model action over Cory Korreckt who finished second and Jerry Goodwin in third. Buddy George won the twenty-five lap Sportsman feature event over Shane Criswell in second and Michael Williams third. Todd Watson won the IMCA Modified feature event over Kevin Waddell in second and Scottie Hiett third. Steven Forsythe won the fifteen lap Thundercar feature event over Ken Pate in the runner-up position and Scott Magouirk third. James McAvoy won the Street Stock feature event while Brandon Wright picked up the Hot Shot victory. TST is back in action this Saturday Night June 27th featuring the Hot Shot Summer Championship race. All other divisions will also be in action plus a make-up feature for the IMCA Modifieds and Thundercars. Gates will open at 4PM with Hot Laps at 6:30 and racing at 7:30.
