Chip Brindle: NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt LMS National Champion

Chip Brindle of Chatsworth, GA is the 2008 NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Champion and Scott Knowles of Lanett, AL is the 2008 Sunoco Race Fuels Rookie of the Year. Brindle and Knowles will be honored for their respective titles at the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Annual Awards Banquet on December 10 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tampa, FL. Brindle will receive $20,000 out of the $50,000 National point fund, a new GM Performance 604 Crate Engine, and a new Mastersbilt chassis for the National Championship. Knowles will pick up $5,000 from Sunoco Race Fuels and a new Warrior chassis for the Rookie of the Year Award, in addition to his third-place share of the National point fund in the amount of $5,000.
