Golden Isles: '09 Super Bowl Jan. 28-31

Golden Isles Speedway, in Brunswick, will host the fifth Super Bowl of Racing Jan. 28-31, 2009, with a practice day Jan. 27. Wed., Jan. 28: Super Late Models $5000 to win, plus National Late Model Series, adm. $25 Thurs., Jan. 29: Super Late Models $7500 to win, plus National Late Model Series, adm. $30 Fri., Jan. 30: Southern All Stars Super Late Models $10,000 to win, plus National Late Model Series, adm. $30 Sat., Jan. 31: Southern All Stars Super Late Models $12,000 to win, plus National Late Model Series, plus extra 25-lap feature, with $5000 to win, $1000 to start, for Top Ten in points from all four nights. adm. $35 Last January’s tire controversy has led to a “Hoosier Open Tire” rule in 2009.
