TIM BUSHA, TERRY SMITH & JAMES CLINE SHARE SUPER LATE MODEL FEATURE WINS AT TALLADEGA SHORT TRACK

Eastaboga, AL (August 16, 2008) – Tim Busha, Terry Smith and James Cline each picked up a Super Late Model win in the annual Keith Hays Tribute Race featuring triple 20’s at Talladega Short Track on Saturday Night.

Thirty-Six Super Late Model entrants were on hand for the event.

Tim Busha won the first twenty-lap feature event over Chris Mullinax who finished in second and James Cline in third.

Busha would then draw a four for the invert of the second feature event.

The second twenty-lap feature was a real classic, as Terry Smith used a last lap pass to inch ahead of James Cline at the line for the win. Cline would finish in second with Busha third.

The final twenty-lap segment was lined up by points accumulated between the first two features.

James Cline would pick up the win in the third feature, the “Keith Hays Tribute Race” over Smith in second and Busha third.

Kenny Gaither picked up the special non-qualifiers race.

Adam Martin picked up the twenty-lap Crate LateModel feature event win over Tyler Hurst who finished second and Landon Sims in third.

Michael Strickland picked up his first Sportsman win of the season over Michael Williams in second and Joe Noojin third.

David Griffin won the IMCA Modified feature event over Jeff Harry who finished second and Scottie Hiett in third.

Tony Miles won the fifteen lap Thundercar feature event while Michel Skelton winning the Street Stock feature and Curtis Busby winning the Hot Shot feature event.

Talladega Short Track resumes this Saturday Night August 23rd featuring the second and final appearance of the season for the O’Reilly United Mini Sprints plus a full show in all other divisions.
