Grant Jordan wins Lavonia FASTRAK special 7-4-08

FASTRAK SERIES RESULTS, Lavonia GA On a night where the fireworks on the track may have eclipsed the aerial display earlier in the evening, the FASTRAK Series proved once again why it is the fastest growing and most competitive racing series in the country, in Saturdays 4th annual $20,000 “Fireworks and FASTRAK“ event in Lavonia, GA, In the FASTRAK Modern Chevrolet Southeast Touring Series 50 lap main event, Grant Jordan of Bowman, GA was able to hold off Inman, SC driver David Smith, to collect the $5000.00 first place check. Jordan assumed the point when Timbo Mangum relinquished the lead on lap 18 after contact with another car in heavy lapped traffic. In the 33 laps that remained, Smith would challenge Jordan for the lead on over 30 occasions in a classic duel which had the huge crowd in attendance on their feet many times.
