Old 441 reopens as Dublin USA Music & Motorsports Park

Terry Keeney will re-open the old 441 Speedway in Dublin in 2008 as the Dublin USA Music & Motorsports Park. The 3/8s asphalt track has been closed since 2001. Keeney’s background is in concert tour promotion, television production, and fund raising for charities, and he plans to have a variety of races and entertainment events at the 700-acre facility. Rodeo tuff-cowboy shows, monster trucks, lumberjacks, and televised races are planned, with a schedule release planned in Dec. The track will host traveling racing series during the spring and fall. No weekly racing is planned. In Dec., Kerry Earnhardt and his sons are visiting Dublin for a deer hunt, including a meet-and-greet at the Macon Bass Pro Shop and a hog roast fund raiser. The track is located south of Dublin on Hwy. 441, six miles off I-16. --Advertisement--
